Simple Steps for using MPVR Features


» Charging / Installing Battery

Place the battery into the charger, and the charging indicator will turn red.  When the charging indicator turns green, the battery is fully charged.


Note: The Metallic contacts must be aligned with those in the charger.

» How to Playback / Download Files

A.) Playback on MPVR

While camera is ON, simply press the Play button on the LCD panel of the MPVR to enter playback mode.  Use the arrow keys on LCD panel to navigate and highlight the file you wish to view, then press the Play button again to enlarge to full screen on LCD.

B.) Playback / Transfer to Computer

Note
: Before plugging in the MPVR, make sure MPVR is in Disk Mode.  Turn MPVR ON, press the Mode button and choose Setting.  Find USB and select Disk Mode.

Using the USB/AV Out Cable, connect the Mini connector to MPVR and USB end to computer's USB port.

C.) Playback on TV / VCR

Using the USB/AV Out Cable, connect the Mini connector to the MPVR and the RCA jacks to your TV's AV In ports.  Some ports are located in front of TV (as shown) others are located in the back of your TV.

 



» Connect and Record your Favorite TV Shows, VHS and DVD Movies

A.) Connecting MPVR to Device

Using the AV Cable, plug in the RCA jacks in to "AV Out" of the device you wish to record from.  Plug in the other end of the AV Cable (1/8" jack) in to the MPVR "AV In".

B.) One Touch Recording from Device

After connecting the MPVR to your TV/VCR/DVD Player, be sure to Cue up movie to desired recording location or scene you wish to record.



» How to Load MP3 Music

Note: MP3 Folder is created after taking initial photo or video.

• Turn the MPVR "ON" and connect to computer's USB port.

• Open "My Computer", open MP3 folder inside "Removable Disk" Drive.

• Place MP3 files into the MP3 folder located in the "Removable Disk" Drive.
  * Not all music files are MP3, Please verify the type(s)

• Once the files have transferred, disconnect the camera.
 

» How to Play MP3 Music

Press the Mode button and use the Joystick to select the MP3 mode.  Then press the center of the Joystick to enter.

A.) To select Desired Track

Move the Joystick up or down to scroll through list of songs.  When selected, press the center of the Joystick to play track.

B.) Adjusting Volume

During MP3 play, move Joystick left or right to increase or decrease volume.

Note: MP3 Player only plays MP3 files.  Other types such as WMA / AIFF / etc. will not play. 
Check the file type by "viewing details" in the folder containing your music.



» Quick Tips

• First time use of SD Card, make sure tab on SD Card is not in "locked" position and use the camera "Format" function to format the SD Card.  (SD Card Not Included)

• Using Night Mode found under "Menu", provides better quality photos and allows videos in darker environments.

• Shortcut for setting Flash Strobe - Move Joystick to the left once for "Auto Flash" setting, move Joystick twice to the left for "ON" setting.

• Shortcut for White Balance control - (camera setting for different lighting scenes) Move Joystick to the right to select one of the preset settings: (Auto / Sunny / Cloudy / Fluorescent / Tungsten)

• For longer video recordings of DVD's / Movies:  After pressing the Record button, turn the LCD panel to closed position and the MPVR will record until memory is full.
